Get the port from Civitavecchia train station

Rome City is connected by two trains per hour to Civitavecchia. All the main train stations (Termini, Ostiense, Tiburtina, Tuscolana, Trastevere, and San Pietro) have service connections with Civitavecchia. The train time table can be consulted on the Trenitalia web site.
Once you reached Civitavecchia train station. You can walk (600 meters) or take a taxi to the south entrance of the port where a free shuttle bus service will take you to the piers.

Route from the train station to the south entrance of the port

Once you left the train station, take “Via della Resistenza” pointing west, after 200 meters go to “Viale Garibaldi” and continue to the west (you can see the sea on your left side) for 300 metres straight on. You will find yourself in front of the south entrance of the Civitavecchia port.

Route to get from the train station to piers 10-11-12-12bis-13b
Once you left the train station go to “Via della Resistenza” pointing west, after 200 meters go to “Viale Garibaldi” continuing to the west (you can see the sea on your left) go straight on for 300 metres you find the south entrance of the port (where the free shuttle bus services are). After you enter the port proceed to the roundabout (100 meters to Calata Laurenti) turn to the left taking the second exit to the south: you will have the sea on your right side and the Michelangelo’s fortress to your left. Go straight on for 200 metres turn to right and follow the instructions to get pier 10. Piers 11-12-12bis and 13bis are next to pier 10.

Once you left the train station go to “Via della Resistenza” pointing west, after 200 meters go to “Viale Garibaldi” continuing to the west (you can see the sea on your left) go straight on for 300 metres you find the south entrance of the port (where the free shuttle bus services are). Go straight on for 900 meters (follow Calata Laurenti and Calata Tommaso with the sea on your left) you get to the north entrance of the port. Staying inside the port area go west (sea on your left) for 1,5 km following the direction “pier 25″ you will reach pier 25 north and south and its parking.

Once you left the train station go to “Via della Resistenza” pointing west, after 200 metres, go to “Viale Garibaldi” and go further to the west (sea on your left) go straight on for 300 metres turn to the right (Piazza Plebiscito) and after 80 metres to the left (Largo Cavour). Go straight on for 800 metres crossing Piazza Vittorio Emanuele and go to Corso Marconi and Via XVI Settembre till you reach the roundabout (Piazza Tarquinia). Proceed to the south through turco street (the 5th exit from the roundabout). After 200 metres you reach the one way road west to lazzaretto street and after 200 metres you reach the north entrance of the port. Once you are inside the port area, go to west (sea on your left) for 1,5 km following the direction “pier 25″ to reach piers 25 south and north and the parking lot.
