This year we will have at the Port of Civitavecchia 3 NCL cruise ships: Epic, Spirit, and Norwegian Star.

Norwegian Epic itinerary program is based on Western Mediterranean cruises from Rome Port (Civitavecchia) and Barcelona, operated year-round, and visiting the Canary Islands and Madeira.

Norwegian Spirit itinerary program is based on year-round European voyages in the Mediterranean Sea from Malaga, Barcelona, Civitavecchia Port of Rome and Venice. The ship also sails to the Canary Islands, Madeira and Morocco (North Africa).


With a fleet of 12 ships, NCL cruises more than 140 ports in the world, Civitavecchia Port included. Every year their goal is to propose new destinations and new routes to renew and enrich their offer, their catalog cruises.

A great new Norwegian Cruise Line 2016-2017 regards the routes in the western Caribbean. This destination has added a new airport on an island in Belize about 30 hectares: Harvest Caye. The company has bought a private island last year, as well as a nearby island.

Founded by Knut Kloster and Ted Arison, Norwegian Cruise Line is an American cruise company. Initially known as Norwegian Caribbean Lines, its main office is in Miami, Florida.
At first, cruises Norwegian Cruise Line were only serving the Caribbean. The company has been able to renew its offer with the Out Island Cruise package, which included a trip to the cruise combined low cost Norwegian Cruise Line, always to the Caribbean.
Later, the company expanded its routes in the world: from Mexico to Akalska, from the Mediterranean, expecially from Civitavecchia Port, to northern Europe.

The company’s cruise ships are divided into five classes: Leo, Sky, Libra, Jewel and Epic. The largest ship Norwegian Epic, a giant of the seas of more than 155 thousand tons with a length of 330 meters. On board, visitors can take advantage of 3 swimming pools, 18 bars, a casino and a mini-club for children.
