As the distance is short to travel by car, it is impossible to find an available taxi. So there are two ways to get from the Port to Civitavecchia train station: on foot or by bus.
From the port to the Civitavecchia train station on foot
The distance on foot from the port is quite short, and varies from less than 1 km to 1,5 km.
From Forte Michelangelo exit at Varco Fortezza and take Via Giuseppe Garibaldi, then follow the signs for the train station, it is a walk of about 600 meters.
From Largo della Pace, pass the roundabout and take Via XVI Settembre, then continue to the end, then turn right. Take, finally, via Giuseppe Garibaldi and follow the signs for the train station. In this case the walk is a bit longer, about 1.5 km
From the port to the Civitavecchia train station by bus
You have to go to the Largo della Pace Service Center to get a CSP City Bus. The bus takes about 10 minutes to get to the Civitavecchia train station.
CSP City Buses going to the station run about every 20 minutes.
