Coronavirus emergency: state of arrivals and departures at the Port of Civitavecchia

**THE LOCKDOWN IS EXTENDED UNTIL MAY 3** COVID-19: discover the latest updates on departures to and from the port of Civitavecchia for all Cruises, Sardinia, Sicily, Spain and Tunisia.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is causing a series of difficulties for all Italian transport, and obviously the arrivals and departures of ferries and cruises are also affected.

In this page we will try to update you on the Port of Civitavecchia, in particular regarding Cruises and the routes that connect it by ferry with Sardinia, Sicily, Spain and Tunisia.

We will try to constantly update this page, during the next few days, whenever there will be official communications from the various shipping companies.

Coronavirus update for Cruises at the Port of Civitavecchia.

Starting from March 20, 2020, all cruise services for Italian passenger ships are suspended and the arrival in Civitavecchia Port, and all Italian ports, of cruise ships flying the foreign flag is blocked. For foreign passengers not positive to Covid 19, the owner will have to organize the return home. Passenger ships flying the foreign flag engaged in cruise services will no longer be able to enter national ports.

The provisions of the decree drawn up by the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry of Transport jointly with the Italian Ministry of Health, will apply until 3 May, unless extended.

At the moment we do not yet have official information for departures from / to Palermo and Termini Imerese, therefore the routes remain confirmed.



The connections with Olbia and Cagliari will always be guaranteed for territorial continuity. Therefore, all Tirrenia ferries (CIN – Compagnia Italiana Navigazione) except for further unforeseen events will be operational.



We currently have no official cancellation information on the route to / from Barcelona yet.



WARNING! According to the provisions of the Tunisian embassy, passenger transport to Tunis from the port of Civitavecchia has been suspended until a later date.
